Paper Rose Studio

Paper Rose Studio | Large Blooms Card

Hi paper crafting peeps, welcome to today’s blog post for Paper Rose Studio where I have a simple ink-blended card with a little bit of masking and splattering.

I first started by masking off the center of the white side folding card front with masking paper. I added Catherine Pooler Oh Boy! & Tiki Torch ink with a mini ink blending tool along with the dome applicator for a smoother ink blend. Once happy with the ink saturation place the card front panel in the MISTI. Place the Helen and Hattie’s stamps in the MISTI for perfect placement to stamp on the card front panel along with the Versafine Onyx blank pigment ink. Double stamp as needed that is why I use a MISTI (just in case). To finish the card off I added some rhinestones, crystals and blank ink splatters.

WOW! Embossing Powder | NEW Violetera

Hi all, welcome to today’s blog post for WOW! Embossing Powder for the NEW ‘The Violetera’ embossing glitter inspired by Cuadritos de Colores. I first started today’s card creation by heat embossing a relatively new metallic powder Polished Silver which I heat embossed an old Catherine Pooler background rubber stamp called ‘Filigree’ on a purple cardstock and mounted it on a side folding white cardbase. For the tag element I have heat embossed the whole die cut in the NEW The Violetera embossing glitter. I die cut a very old butterfly die set from Pretty Pink Posh with purple cardstock and adhered it down to the tag. I stamped a sentiment and placed that down in the centre of the butterfly to finish the card off.

Spellbinders | It’s my party collection by Carissa Wiley

Welcome to the dazzling world of the, It’s My Party Collection by Carissa Wiley! Get ready to celebrate in style with a collection that embodies the essence of joyous festivities and unforgettable moments. Bursting with vibrant colors, playful patterns, and a sprinkle of whimsy, this collection is designed to make every occasion a true celebration.

I started today’s card by creating a soft ink blended background over the Tiny Dots embossing folder. I have used Catherine Pooler Do-Si-Do ink with the lightest hand to ink-blend.

I used Gold foil for the Party Balloons bouquet glimmer set & the Hip Hip Hooray glimmer plate. Both sets have coordinating dies which makes it for easy die cutting. The bouquet balloon comes with a coordinating stencil too to add detail to the balloons. Using the stencil adds wonderful patterns to the balloons for more interest!

All the die-cut pieces are adhered down with liquid glue and foam squares for added dimension. To finish the card off I added some sequins to embellish the card.

‘Embroidery Flowers’ Clear Spellbinders Stamp Set from Cardmaker II Stamp Collection

Hi all, welcome to another blog post as a Guest for Spellbinders for their Cardmaker II Stamp collection.

One thing I love to do is create my own pattern paper by repeat stamping for the background panel. Sometimes I love playing with a monochromatic colour scheme and for today I have used the Catherine Pooler Pixie Dust ink with an added touch of ink blending around the edges to add some depth.

I have die cut the ovals with Fancy Edged & Elegant Ovals dies with white cardstock. For the image, I have stamped with the Pixie Dust ink and used the rock n roll method and added a little Royal Treatment ink around the edges. To finish the card off I have embellished with some lavender rhinestones.

A little more about this stampset …. GRAB YOURS HERE

Embroidery Flowers Clear Stamp Set is part of the Cardmaker II Stamp Collection. The set has 10 clear Photopolymer stamps. They are designed to work with an acrylic block and made in the U.S.A. These inks I am able to purchase here in Australia through my local scrapbooking store Daisy Chain Scrapbooks & online Auzz Trinklets.

This winter paper pack is formatted in CP slimline size at 3.5″ x 8.5″ and comes in a variety of patterns and prints featuring snowflakes and floral designs.  The Spa color combo is inspired by our Pink Champagne, Hot Tub, Skylight, Tranquil, Cove Blue and Twilight Inks.  Try pairing this paper with our Aspen or Glacier Bay Sequin mixes!

You’ll get three (3) sheets of each of the eight (8) different designs. The collection has not only snowflake patterns but there are also floral and solid pattern papers that can suit masculine cards too. Don’t you love the versatility the Catherine Pooler ranges have to offer? For today’s card, I have used the new Winter frames slimline dies. This double frame has a subtle wood grain emboss imprint as an added element feature. Honestly, I will be using this one more and more. I can envision so many uses for this die.

Now if you know me well I just have to add a little sparkle…… I have heat embossed the snow flake dies in Pink Tutu embossing glitter from WOW! Embossing Powder.
