Hi paper crafting peeps, welcome to today’s blog post for Paper Rose Studio where I have made a masculine slimline card. it has been a while since I have made this style of card. Since I don’t have many masculine cards ready to go in my stash I have been making a conscious effort designing some masculine cards. For today’s card design, I have used the Hey Mate cut-a-parts and 12×12 pattern papers. I have die-cut the base with the Slimline rectangle card creator and for the feature elements. With the BMX die I have die-cut it 3 times layering it up for a thicker chip board type of dimension look. I also added glossy accents to make it shiny. It was such a quick, easy and masculine card to make.

I have used the Poinsettia Christmas stamp set which I have copic-coloured in the main image along with the accompanying sentiment. The coloured panel has been mounted on a black cardstock and then on a white top folding card base. I kept this card really simple and just enjoyed the colouring process.

Hi all and welcome to today’s blog post from Spellbinders, the Photosynthesis Collection by Simon Hurley is a release that is not only stunning the variety of dies and glimmer plate sentiments not only compliment each other but are great for stretching for further cardmaking use. One thing I love about Spellbinder is that I can always mix and match every collection so that it is not isolated to just use with each release only but you can continue usage with multiple collections.
For today’s card, I have used Must-Have Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set, Floral Stems Etched Dies, and Ceramic Vases base Etched Dies from the collection. For die-cutting all the florals I used a pattern paper watercolour pack, I used the Kraft cardstock for the pot plant base for a neutral placement for the florals. For ease of mass production, I also made gold, teal, and rainbow foil sentiments. The reason why this was easy to mass-produce as it comes with coordinating dies. I am not usually one to make sure I have coordinating dies for sentiments as I can use my cutter bee scissors but the convenience was pretty awesome. I am not going to lie, I have loved having coordinating dies in this instance.
Now as I mentioned above earlier, I love that I can mix and match releases so the 3D embossing folder Beautiful Butterflies (E3D-055), this was from Bibi Cameron’s Hummingbirds Collection.

Hi all, welcome to today’s blog post with the latest Spellbinders Victorian Garden collection release. I have die cut the Mason jar & Lavendar set and the Victorian Garden Foilage dies. The dies have been die-cut with pre-embossed panels from a range of WOW! Embossing Powders. Two of the powders are from my very own collection – Midori Splice & Fruit Tingle. These are a bright mix of powders that add some lovely sparkle and shine to your projects. I have also added a spring of gold embossing powder too. I kept the mason jar in white with the springs adding color. The sentiment has been foiled with teal foil from the Just wanted to say sentiment plate collection. To finish the card off I added some crystal drops and a linen floss bow.

With my blog post today I am working with a very similar colour pallet this time I have added some heat embossing with the Dappled Effects Trio embossing powder set from WOW! Embossing Powder. I know this is not a traditional colour combo , however I am all about mixing it up and venturing out my normal creative style.
I am loving the new script sentiments sentiment dies, they have a cool looking font to the words. Did you also see how many words you get in the set? Lots of versatility to be able to make a HUGE array of cards. I also added gold accents to the word dies and floral petals for added interest. How detailed is the Scrolled Punch & Pierce plate die, I am loving the different components to this die to be able to play with layers on your card creations.

Hi all, Welcome to today’s card inspiration with the NEW Spellbinders Four Petals release. I have used Distress Oxide re-inkers to do a light colour wash technique for this foiled tulip image. This image comes with coordinating dies which I have used but I did give it a little haircut on the right-hand side to make the image appear in the center of the panel which is mounted on a punched pierced cover die. This tulips set also comes with a beautiful sentiment which I have also used on today’s card.
