Paper Rose Studio | Watercolour Bouquet Card

Hi all, welcome to today’s blog post for Paper Rose Studio. For today’s card, I have heat embossed the Hayley’s bouquet stamp set with WOW! Embossing Powder Opaque Bright White embossing powder on watercolour cardstock. I used my Karin brush markers and Altenew Brush markers to watercolour these in. I mounted the watercolour cardstock panel on black cardstock which I also mounted on a white side folding cardstock base. To make for a quick and simple finish I have used the Big Sentiement 1.0 pre-printed pack. To finish the card I added a sprinkle of Clear Crystal mix pack as embellishments.

Paper Rose Studio | Watercolour Protea Bouquet

Hi paper crafters, welcome to today’s blog post for Paper Rose Studio. I have made a watercolour card with the stunning Slimline Protea Bouquet gardens stampset and heat embossed with Super Fine Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder on white watercolour cardstock. I watercoloured the image with Altenew Brush markers in a variety of colours. For the sentiment, I die cut the Hugs die 3 times and heat embossed the top layer with Royal Emerald embossing powder. To finish the card off, I added some Crystal embellishments throughout the card front.

Paper Rose Studio

Paper Rose Studio | Daisy Circle Cards

Hi crafty people, welcome to today’s blog post for Paper Rose Studio. I have made two very similar cards with different backgrounds for today’s cards through the Daisy Circle die.

Card 1 – I have made an alcohol ink background where I placed the cranberry alcohol ink on yupo cardstock / paper. Once dried but slightly tacky I placed copper foil and pressed gently so the alcohol ink background stayed in the areas leaving a marble effect. I adhere the daisy circle die-cut on a black stitched circle cardstock. I mounted the circle piece on an A6 card front base. The pre-printed sentiment is from the Big black & white sentiment sheets pack.

Card 2 – I have used strips of cardstock popped behind the daisy circle die. I kept this card very clean and simple and used the colour of the cardstock strips to make the die stand out. The sentiment is from the Black & White sentiment sheets pack which I adhere down on the white card base.

Paper Rose Studio | Christmas Cardset Duo

Hi all, welcome to my Christmas card duo set. Honestly, I have kept this set really simple as I love how the Silver Bells paper pack has elegant sentiment scripts and images with these little 3 x 4″ pieces. The best thing working with pattern paper packs EVERYTHING coordinates just beautifully. No need to overthink it just have fun cutting and sticking together. Do you have days where you just want to dit and look at your pretty things, and occasionally dip into your hoard paper vault, that was me and I just felt the next to just cut and stick and these paper packs are perfect for my moods.

Paper Rose Studio

Paper Rose Studio | Christmas Cardset

Hi all, welcome to my Christmas card set collection for the Paper Rose Studio design team. Today’s cardset is pretty simple and I have used the beautiful paper collection pack Poinsettia Garden and pre-foiled Christmas Sentiments in silver foil. For added extra detail I have used some additional dies like the Poinsettia layered die set, Label frames and small bow die. Check out the list of products used below at the end of my post.

Card 1 – I love the red pops of colour on this pattern paper collection. I have added a solid grey cardstock base layer to mat the pattern paper. I have used the silver pre-foiled Christmas sentiment pack to make for easy assembly which I have mounted on a label die. As a decorative element, I have placed the small bow die.

Card 2 – I have stuck with more of the neutral greys tones with the black part of the pattern paper proving the pop of colour for this card.

Card 3 – For the poinsettias layered dies I have done a tone on tone with white cardstock just so it doesn’t take away from the beautiful pattern paper.
