Spellbinders | Photosynthesis Collection by Simon Hurley

Hi all and welcome to today’s blog post from Spellbinders, the Photosynthesis Collection by Simon Hurley is a release that is not only stunning the variety of dies and glimmer plate sentiments not only compliment each other but are great for stretching for further cardmaking use.

For today’s card, I have used Must-Have Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set, Floral Stems Etched Dies, Modern Stripes Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Ceramic Vases base Etched Dies from the collection. For die-cutting all the florals I used a pattern paper watercolour pack. For the background panel, I added gold foil stripes with the Modern Stripes Glimmer Hot Foil Plate as an added element to ground my floral die-cut floral arrangement. I kept the rest of the card very clean and simple leveraging the colour arrangement of the florals with a similar pink background matting panel.

Spellbinders | Bibi’s Hummingbirds Collection

Hi paper crafting peeps, welcome to today’s blog post with the NEW Spellbinders Collection | BIBI’S HUMMINGBIRDS BY BIBI CAMERON. I have made the smallest part of the die collection to be my focal piece for today’s card. Just adding some ink blending to the die cuts and white gel pen detail required little effort but have to say I am very happy with the results. I did use an old Spellbinders ornate oval die to mount the die cuts on, this is one of my all-time favourite dies that I don’t think I will ever let go of. Do you have old favourites that you love? The gold foil sentiment is from the Just for You foil plate set and added some light ink blending. All pieces I have mounted on another ink-blended background. To finish the card off I love using my staple glass domes embellishments.

The Bibi’s Hummingbird Collection is a set of stamps and dies designed for paper crafting enthusiasts, particularly those who enjoy creating beautiful cards, scrapbook layouts, and other paper crafts featuring intricate and delicate designs. The collection features a variety of hummingbird-themed stamps and coordinating dies, as well as other nature-inspired elements such as flowers and foliage.  The designs in this collection range from realistic renderings of hummingbirds and flowers to more whimsical, stylized designs that are perfect for adding a touch of fun and whimsy to any project.

Spellbinders | Four Petals Release

Hi all, Welcome to today’s card inspiration with the NEW Spellbinders Four Petals release. I have used Distress Oxide re-inkers to do a light colour wash technique for this foiled tulip image. This image comes with coordinating dies which I have used but I did give it a little haircut on the right-hand side to make the image appear in the center of the panel which is mounted on a punched pierced cover die. This tulips set also comes with a beautiful sentiment which I have also used on today’s card.
