Uniquely Creative – Rose Gold Foil Hello

Card Size : 4 1/8” x 5 7/8” Kraft Top Folding

Steps –

  1. Die cut with the cross-stitched circle die with white cardstock. This will cut the inner part of the circle and the outer cross stitched outline piece.
  2. Ink blend with Distress Inks Victoria Velvet, Tattered Rose & Seedless Preserves in Oxide Inks with a mini round ink blending tool. Start from lightest colour to darkest and work your way back. TIP : Use a post it not to protect your fingers and not leave any finger marks on your blended panel. Set aside to dry.
  3. Stamp the wreath with Versafine Onyx Black ink and then die cut with the coordinating dies.
  4. With the toner sheets die cut the hello die. I have used WOW! Fab Foils in the Rose Gold and run that through my mini minc machine.
  5. I start adhering all the pieces down with a liquid pen and foam adhesives.
  6. I finished the card off with Rose Gold sequins from Hand made by Brittney lee.

Succulent Banner Card for Trinity Stamps

Hi All and welcome to my first blog post with Trinity Stamps. It is an honor that I am joining this wonderful and talented team to show case and bring to you a brand new company.

I will be creating weekly youtube videos where I will be show casing my card creations with this company.

Today I will be playing the the Succulent Banner stamps and coordiating dies.  SO lets get right into then…..

Today’s card is super simple, I have chosen Versafine Onyx Black Ink which is a waterproof pigment base ink with Ranger Watercolour cardstock. My colouring medium of choice are Zig Clean and Clear markers and copics to added some texture to my over all watercoloured image.

With WOW! Embossing Powder Opaque Bright in superfine I heat embossed the add-on sentiment directly below the watercolour feature peace.

I have added some sparkle to the card with Trinity mini star sequins (yet to be released in store).Pic 3

To finish the card off I stamped on a white panel in the inside of the black cardstock cardbase with Lime Rickey Catherine Pooler ink to continue the theme inside the card. Pic 4

Uniquely Creative August Stamp & Colour Kit

Hi All, Jo here and welcome to my very first blog post. Today I am playing with the Flying By stampset from the August Stamp & Colour Kit. I love bold and vibrant colours and this is always something I have been drawn too when I first started crafting. That doesn’t mean to say I knew how to put these colours together though. I started off with appreciating each colour and educating myself with the colour wheel. I still prefer to keep it simple though. So having said all that I have played with some bold and bright colours but sticking to each card with a monochromatic feel.  I purchased a pack of extra fine point sharpie markers and found that the Catherine Pooler Ink really coordinated well with the markers. They weren’t the exact match but close enough to what I needed for my card designs.  IMG_8890

Step 1. Once I have chosen my ink colour I randomly stamped the bird images working from largest to the smallest. I tried to work in triangles as much as possible. IMG_8884

Step 2. I then start the “dotting” process with my sharpie marker working my way from the top to the bottom covering the whole card front panel.

Step 3. With the Sweet Sentiment dies, die cut with a card stock colour closest to the ink and pen markers. So the first / bottom layer of the cardstock is coloured and I have used white cardstock for the top layer for the sentiment. To adhere these down I have used liquid adhesive.

Step 4. Finally, with the same coloured card stock I have heat embossed with WOW! Embossing Powder in Opaque Bright White Super Fine powder for the “happy” from the Sweet Sentiments Builder Stampset on a strip of cardstock.

I have created a process video for you to watch this bright cardset.

Hope you enjoyed todays card creation. Happy Paper crafting. Hugs Jo
