Craftie Cafe: Wine Tags

Jo Herbert - 311017 Christmas Tags Pic 1

Welcome to today’s blog post brought to you for Craftie Cafe Online store.

Today, I have created some fun tags to place on bottles of wine as hand made gift idea. These tags can be mass produced and were so much fun to make.

Coming to the end of year it is timely that I have some of these ready to give to teachers, work colleagues and friends.

I have used an array of products from Craftie Cafe  wtth MFT, Avery Elle, Wplus9 and more.

Hoppy Easter

Happy Easter every bunny. Today I have played with the Lawn Fawn eggstra special easter stampset. I kept these tags super simple as I have made them for my kids. I asked “permission” from the Easter Bunny to  make these tags on behalf of the easter bunny to add them to their gifts.  Each year my kids either get PJ’s or a Cuddly bear / bunny or a little gift.  Each year we my husband and I try and make the gifts a as thoughtful as possible.

The tags are die cut from Reverse Confetti die set. All images have been coloured in with either Zig Clean Clear brush markers or blending pencils. Most products I have used have been purchased from Craftie Cafe.

I have entered these tags in the latest Simon Says Stamp Blog Wednesday Challenge.

Blog Challenges

I first prepared the textured background by mixing Marina Mist ink from the re-inker and Ranger white textured paste the trick is not to add too much re-inker as it will make the past rather thin and may loose some of the texture. The Stencil used is the Tessatina from Memory Box.
For the tag I have used the Stampin Up Punch, the Lawn Fawn scripty thanks die, early expresso brads and scallop border punch placed behind the die. I added a strip of white card stock with pennant ends to add some character to the tag.
I have entered this card in the Pals Paper Arts Colour challenge & The Male Room

Inspired By Stamping : Kids Card

Hi all, today’s set of cards is for those young ones that love things that fly.
This set is using the Kids Fun stampset. Such a fun, fantastic and playful set for kids.
Each card is using a tag that has been water coloured with a variety of colours.
I have used a variety of sequins from different companies to co-ordinate with each tag and card.
Versamark Black Onyx ink was the perfect ink to stamp to achieve crisp black image on each tag.
I have heat embossed with fine white embossing powder on black cardstock ti make each sentiment standout.
To add extra embellishment  I have used black twine on each tag topper.

Hope you enjoyed today’s set of card.

Inspired By Stamping – Valentine’s Day Gift Packaging

Hi All, Jo here today for a fun blog post. Today is about gift packing and with Valentines Day this weekend I have packaged up some presents for my loving husband.
The top & bottom box is using cardstock that I have customised for today’s colour scheme and cut out with my gift box punch board.
The colour scheme chosen for this set is Mint, Coastal Cabana, Silver and Whisper white. I wanted to keep the colour scheme soft but masculine.
The top box I have stamped the heart clusters from the Hearts stampset repetitively with silver pigment ink.  I have made a tag using a mint cardstock, for the faux stitching I have used a silver sharpie. The sentiment & embossed heart is also from the Hearts stampset which was stamped on a die cut whisper white cardstock. The die used is from the Fancy Labels Die #2 ,white and a teal satin ribbon for the bow and to tie the tag to the bow  some white twine. Copic Marker BG34 around the edges of the sentiment die cut has been used.
The bottom box has been created with a designer series cardstock that came already embossed so I was able to sponge silver pigment ink over the cardstock which resisted the polka dots showing through. I wiped the cardstock down with a tissue to make the emboss resist polka dots pop.
I have heat embossed with pool party embossing party the label from the Fancy Labels 3 stampset set on Vellum cardstock. The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder and die cut from the Fancy Labels Die #3.
To embellish the centre piece I stamped a heart and heat embossed with pool party.
Hope you enjoyed today’s blog post. Happy Paper crafting peeps.
Hugs Jo
