The crafters involved in this hop are going to bring you an array of projects, colouring inspiration and a variety of ways to have fun with both Pretty Pink Posh & WOW Embossing Powders collectively.

We have a super talented line up ahead …..

For my card set I have used a Violet Pearl embossing powder, Pretty Pink Posh Hugs Shaker Die, Flourishing Fuchsias Stampset and an assortment of sequins and embellishments all from Pretty Pink Posh.Jo 1

The reason for using this Embossing Powder as I wanted a really soft subtle yet pearlescent look to my card. I have added some really soft ink blending to the heat embossing images with some light pencil colouring.

My trio of card set is the same layout with heat embossing different sections and ink blending of different sides of each card front.Jo 2

I have used the Pretty Pink Posh Hugs Shaker Die but instead of using for a shaker I have used it as a chip board feature but layering the die cut 3 or 4 times.

I have added a slight sheen to the hugs die with a Zig Clear brush marker.

Mother’s Day Card

IMG_9473

Hello Paper Crafting Peeps and welcome to today’s blog post. I have just fallen in love with this Memory Box “Hovering Butterfly Frame”.  I have kept this card simple  using the Memento Luxe Lilac Posies pigment ink as the pop of colour for this card.

I first dry embossed the frame using the embossing mat through my bigshot on the card front side folding base.  This just left an embossed outline. With a separate piece of white cardstock I die cut and embossed the frame which I foam mounted directly on the top of the card creating a 2nd layer on the card front.

I have used the Love Mom stampset from Wplus9 with the Memento Luxe Ink.

To finish embellishing the card I used droplets from pretty pink posh in various sizes.

Inspired By Stamping : Spring Bouquet Watercolouring Card

Hello everyone and welcome to Inspired By Stamping Release week!
Today’s card is a simple watercolouring card. The stampset featured in today’s card is the Spring Bouquet.
I find it best to use good quality watercolour cardstock to avoid any pilling. I like to use Antique Linen Distress Ink to stamp the image so I can see where I need to watercolour. I played with Peerless Transparent watercolours , Cadmium Yellow, Marigold Yellow, Arbutus Pink, Tea Rose Pink, Heliotrope, Mauve, Olive Green, Veridian Green & Neutral Tint.
For the sentiment I have used Onyx Black Versafine ink.
Hope you enjoy today’s creation.

Christmas Cards – New Arrival Stampsets

Hi fellow paper crafters Jo here, today I have made some cards using all New Arrival stampsets  from Inspired By Stamping.
To create my own background I have repetitive stamped the Poinsettias on Naturals Ivory Cardstock. I have used Crumb Cake Ink as it is a light enough ink without taking away the focus of the centre Poinsettia.  The paper used for all cards is from Teresa Collins ‘Tinsel and Company’. To stamp I used Momento Luxe Inks pear tart for the leaves and Rhubarb stalk for the sentiment. To cut the bottom border I have used Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Border #1 Die.

For the poinsettia  I have heat embossed with gold embossing powder on vellum card stock. The Centre Panel has been cut out with Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo #2.
 Christmas Wreath

For the base I have used the star stamp from the Build a Stocking set with Gold & Silver Encore Ink.
The Centre Panel has been cut out with Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo #2. I have inked using my Ranger mini ink tool with Peeled Paint & Peacock feathers.  Washie tape has been placed along the centre of the card along with gold sequins. For the bow I used a Satin Ribbon close to the peacock feathers ink as possible.
