Hi everyone and welcome to today’s blog post using some fabulous goodies from MFT.
With Valentine’s day coming up I have made this sweet fun interactive card to play along with this month’s Craftie Cafe online store theme.
I love how MFT have created a co-ordinating stampset, dies, pouches AND shaker embellishments / enamel accents which I have used for today’s card. The Design Team is focusing on Love & Friendships this month and I thought I would kick start it to fall in line with Valentine’s Day.
Even though is a rather quick and easy the boldness of the colours and black and white stripes really pop.
When ink blending for the “Love” sentiment I went out to achieve an ombre ink blending where I went heavier handed on one side then lightened my hand pressure towards the other side. I demonstrate this in my You tube video linked below.
Unintentionally I ended up using most of MFT supplies on my card.
To add a pop of colour I have used Distress Ink Candied Apple and I have added a distress look to the inking by sprinting water and picking the excess up with a dry cloth. I have been obsessing about my Distress Oxide Inks lately that my normal Ranger Distress Inks have been a bit neglected so I dusted them off and have started using them again. Watch out for some of upcoming projects as I have revived my love for the inks again.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card creation and I look forward to reading your comments.

Hi All, welcome to my blog post. Today I am participating in the MFT Color Challenge. It is a fun & bright challenge which the design team has created an array of an amazing inspiration.
I have used this cute little hippo from the BB Happy Hippos Stampset.
*WARNING* The following comment will come to a shock so be warned.
I have cut the stampset so the word “Friends” sits underneath and to fit this in “Stitched Arch Stax”die cut out.
The inside of the stitched arched stack has been lightly ink blended with “Salty Ocean”distress ink towards the bottom.
I have used a strip of the “Sweet celebration” paper pack.
To colour the balloons and hippo I have used zig clean and clear markers. I have used glossy accents on the balloons to add the extra shine.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Everyone and welcome to today’s cute card creation using planner stamps from Taylored Expressions for the Craftie Cafe design team.
The cute little critters from the Taylored Expressions Calendar critters stampset are just sooo adorable and I had so much fun playing and stamping with them in my previous Craftie Cafe blog post I just couldn’t help design a card with them. This way you get to see that it is not just for the Calendar Kit but can use them in your everyday stamping and would make a great essential stampset to add to your collection.
Now for the card …… for added Texture to my cards I have started using embossing folders again as the ones from Taylored Expressions do not only add such a unique gorgeous elements to the card but a 3D element that adds texture finishing the overall card creation.
I have repeat stamped the same little critter that I have penciled coloured in on a sandy gray coloured cardstock to created a faux pattern panel that I adhered down on a white top folding card front on the left hand side with foam tape so it pops off the card front.
I am just loving the cross stitched die designs from Lawn Fawn. Lawn Fawn offers them in circles, rectangles and squares which are all available in the Craftie Cafe Online Store. These cross stitched designs add an interesting & fun element to otherwise would be a plain die cut shape. Here I have cut a little off the left hand side of the circle to tuck underneath the tag.
If you are yet to try the embossing powder range from Lawn Fawn please do yourself a favour and add them to your collection as the quality is amazing!
Check out my video of this card making process for this fun card creation.

Today, I have created some fun tags to place on bottles of wine as hand made gift idea. These tags can be mass produced and were so much fun to make.
Coming to the end of year it is timely that I have some of these ready to give to teachers, work colleagues and friends.
I have used an array of products from Craftie Cafe wtth MFT, Avery Elle, Wplus9 and more.
Here is the You Tube on a quick tutorial on how I made these tags –

Hello papercrafting peeps and welcome to another blog post for Craftie Cafe online store. In my video tutorial I have shown 3 methods using distress oxide inks to create these watercoloured type backgrounds for this card set. I have used a HUGE array of Distress Oxide Inks which I have listed below.
I have also created a card with a die cut shadow / window with the Lawn Fawn stitched heart dies. The baby carriage has been paper pieced together with MFT Lucky Prints paper.
To embellish the cards off I have used Nuvo Crystal & gloss drops which I have listed below.
