Hi All and welcome to today’s blog post for the Craftie Cafe online store. As you can see by my card creations I am focusing on Easter. Today I have used mainly Lawn Fawn products as well as Distress Oxide Inks. I have done a very light water colouring on the bunnies but nothing complicated as I made these in bulk.
The most tedious part of the whole card process was the Lawn Fawn Quilted backdrop where I poke all the wholes out to reveal the colour cardstock I used as a card base.
I then heavily foam mounted little rectangles behind each quilted die as you will see in my You Tube video tutorial. I did not hold back with my foam mount adhesive through out these cards lol
Just how sweet are the Heart stack-able dies both the Lacey and stitched? I love how these Lawn Fawn dies are well co-ordinated to nest within each other.
I colour coordinated the ink and the cardstock as I wanted to keep these simple yet sweet and able to make these in bulk. To do this I used the Ranger Distress Oxide Inks and ranger cardstock.
I plan to send these out to the in-laws for Easter as I wont’ be seeing them during this Easter time.
Do you send Easter Cards out? I would love to know what type of cards you make for Easter? I have lately to gravitated towards cute and sweet cards especially in the past couple of years where as before hand I use to make lots of florals or religious base Easter Cards.
Thanks a million for stopping by.
Happy Paper Crafting
