Hi All, welcome to my blog post. Today I am participating in the MFT Color Challenge. It is a fun & bright challenge which the design team has created an array of an amazing inspiration.
I have used this cute little hippo from the BB Happy Hippos Stampset.
*WARNING* The following comment will come to a shock so be warned.
I have cut the stampset so the word “Friends” sits underneath and to fit this in “Stitched Arch Stax”die cut out.
The inside of the stitched arched stack has been lightly ink blended with “Salty Ocean”distress ink towards the bottom.
I have used a strip of the “Sweet celebration” paper pack.
To colour the balloons and hippo I have used zig clean and clear markers. I have used glossy accents on the balloons to add the extra shine.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi All, Hope your week is going well. Today, I have made this card for the August Altenew Inspiration Challenge. I played with the Perissa Embossing powder from Wow Embossing powder and OMG this is an exquisite powder. This powder has gold, copper, chunky silver and gold and it leaves a gorgeous texture looking image behind.
I have used the Build a flower Camellia stampset from Altenew (ofcourse). I only used the solid image and the out layer of the stampset skipping the 2 layer stamp. I added distress inks peacock feathers & peeled paint on the solid image and have heavily sprayed with a spritzer so that it is a water colour mixed stamped iamage which loosely stamps and keeps the base flower stamped image. I waited for a little while for the image to dry but because patience is not one of my strengths I did assist the drying process with my heat tool. I apply heat sparingly so that I did not warp the water colour cardstock. Once I felt it was dry I prepped the cardstock with an embossing buddy to take any extra moisture that I did not see or feel. Using the embossing ink I stamped the outline flower and heat embossed with the Perissa powder.
I did the same process with the leaves with peeled paint as the solid image however you can see I did not wait long enough and did not make sure it was dry enough so when I applied the gold embossing powder over the top of you could not see the detailed image at all. I still kept it though and was still happy with the end result.
I lightly sponged with Distress Ink Frayed burlap over the top and mounted on black top folding card base. I did add some spritzing of water and picked up the excess with a napkin. The sentiment has been stamped with versafine onyx black ink and I have added a strip of gittered washi tape to bring in some gold to the sentiment to co-orinate with the gold leaves.

I was playing around with my Heidi Swap reactive foil mist and stencils. I just love gold foil on my card creations. I have used Altenew stampsets and MFT stencil to create today’s card entry.
