Hi All, todays lovely card is a clean vintage inspired card.
Lots of layers has been done to create todays card. The card base and layers have all been sponged with River Rock ink. I have used the same ink on the front base layer and continuous stamped with the Background Basic III
stampset giving the look of designer series paper. I have distress the edges of the base layers with my distressing tool.
I have layered the labels die cut with Craft, Olive Green and white card stock a nice soft subtle neutral look. By adding the blue green cardstock it has helped brighten the card up.
Embellishments used for this card are some pearls, choc chip satin ribbon, circle punch and Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
Hi All, This is my first card for the year with Inspired By Stamping and I have missed you all.
Today’s card I have used the Emboss Resist Technique.
My design is clean and simple with the use of distress ink colours on the heat embossed panels to make the Background Basics III
music note stampset stand out.
Colour combination is Barn Door & Picked Raspberry.
I have used a polka dot ribbon and plain black grosgrain ribbon to embellish the cards.
The card on the right has black sequins also to add a little touch of scattered black throughout the emboss resist panel. I have sprinkled some blush colour shine on the emboss resist panels.
Colour combination is Peacock feathers, Faded Jeans, Danube Blue & Bermuda Bay.
Navy satin ribbon had been added for the embellishment on both cards and a sprinkle of mint colour shine spray and sequins on the emboss resist panels.
Today’s card is a simple yet a striking card. I have inked up an embossing folder on one side only with a light pink ink and ran that through my Big Shot machine thus leaving ink only on the deboss side. My colour combination for today’s card is Blushing Bride & Vintage Sepia.
Stampsets & accessories used are listed below.
I have also done the inside of the card with the same colour ink combination.
