Hello crafty people, welcome to today’s blog post for my design teamwork for Paper Rose Studio. I love waterolouring and today’s card duo features both the Lotus Bouquet and Big Blooms stampsets. Both these stampsets are large enough to be used as focal images which I have heat embossed with Ebony & Opaque Bright white embossing powders from WOW! Embossing Powder. I find easy watercolouring blending is best used with good watercolour cardstock. I used two different types of watercolour mediums on today’s card, one with brush markers and the other one colouring with shimmer powders. To add some interest to the card panel I die cut with stitched rectangles which I then matted on black cardstock. I mounted these panels on white side folding card bases. For the sentiments, I die cut with silver cardstock the hugs die and the other with the Big Sentiments 1.0 for a quick easy finish.
