Hi crafty people welcome to todays card duo inspiration for my design team work for Paper Rose Studio. I broke out my good old favourite technique heat embossing. However, instead of my ‘go-to’ watercolouring the images, I used a Distress mica stain in Fortune Telling & the Distress Oxide Spray Villainous Potion on watercolour cardstock. I set this to dry really well prior to fussing cutting these images out. As I wanted these images in to be the primary focus of both cards I kept with a white clean and simple design. For added gold touches, I used the Urban Garden Gold 6″x6″ pattern paper pack. I used one sheet only of the script font as I was able to use the largest of nesting curved die and the remaining strip on the other card. For the sentiments, I die cut with gold foil cardstock the word ‘hugs’ and ‘thanks’. To finish the cards off I used some glass domes.
