Hi All, I am super excited to be a Guest Designer for Catherine Pooler Designs for the new Winter Retro Release. I have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Catherine Pooler’s Designs and have nothing but the highest opinion of the quality, vibrancy, and versatility her range offers.
For today, I am playing with the Frosted Blossoms Collections for this release PLUS the new SPA ink Collection | Urban Oasis.
Today’s card I have created my own glitter cardstock by first shading the outer areas of a white card base with the Sangria Ink with an ink blending tool. I then pressed my WOW! Embossing Powder Ultra Slow Drying Ink along the edges and poured the Singing in the Rain embossing glitter around the edges and heat set. You can also do this with the Neutrals Embossing Glitter, Clear Holographic Embossing Glitter, and Clear Sparkle as well. They will all give a similar result and a great way of making your inked panel into a glitter panel.
I love the colour combination of this new release as the pattern paper collection works really well also which I have used on today’s card. I have kept the design rather simple as I wanted to showcase the technique of a DIY Glitter cardstock.
