For the first card i have created an alcohol ink background which I left in once piece. To create this background I used Yupo synthetic paper and place Indogo and Amethyst Alcohol inks randomly over the page and manipulating the ink with blending solution and a air puffer to create a marble type effect for the background. Once I was haappy with the piece I set that aside to dry and worked on the rest of the card.

I have used the Flight of butterflies stampset for both the largest butterfly and sentiment. With the same embossing powder from WOW! Embossing powder Primary Indigo I have created two types of butterflies. The two butterflies on the top is just straight heat embossed with embossing powder and the Ultra Slow Drying ink.

  3. These cards turned out just beautifully. I have some alcohol inks and have yet to use them. But every time I see a background that has been done using them…I just love it. Guess I will have to get them out and play with them. Here come some inky hands. I love the Butterfly stamp set. Thank you so much for sharing your talent today. Have a great and fun weekend.

They are both gorgeous and you’ve added new embossing powder colors to my “WOW! must have” list for next month YAY!
